Under Autoresponders
Are you ready to Automate your web site?… Start with an autoresponder.
Imagine… how much time you’ll save!… Your autoresponder puts each incoming ezine subscriber in a database, and sends an email asking for confirmation of the subscription.
When the confirmation is received your autoresponder instantly sends a Thank You email to the subscriber. When you get unsubscribes day or night, it takes them out of the database and sends an email to acknowledge removal.
Picture… getting hundreds of subscribers to your ezine, email courses or reports. Your autoresponder acknowledges, schedules them and sends them out to each suscriber. Subscribers on different days get their courses going out on different days… Impossible to do manually!
At intervals you’ll be sending emails, articles, sales information letting your customers know about new products or specials you’re offering. What a time waster if you had to do this manually. Once set up your autoresponder does all this automatically.
You can copy and paste your ezine into your autoresponder and schedule mail out on a date you choose. When your ezine is sent to your subscribers. Your autoresponder can give you a report showing how many ezines were sent and the number of undeliverables.
Some autoresponders are free, these include advertising. Other autoresponder providers charge per month or year for their use. Autoresponder providers furnish you with easy to follow step by step tutorials for fast easy setup.
You can go to Google and search for autoresponders… You’ll be able to choose from a long list. Some of them are free, some charge a fee. Read about the features of each and choose one fitting your particular website automation needs.
The Value Of Using Autoresponders… Fast, easy, automatic, accurate, and dependable…24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days and nights a year. Autoresponders save your time, effort, and confusion. You can spend your time building your business while your autoresponder takes care of most of the details… Automatically!
Autoresponders!… How did we ever get along without them?

How often have you subscribed to a new ezine, forum or newsletter and when the initial issue appears in your Inbox you’re wondering how in blazes your address ended up on the list?
Sometimes when this occurs, we simply click to unsubscribe, being unable to recall what compelled us to register in the first place, and the first issue does nothing to rekindle our initial enthusiasm.
As publishers, autoresponders can serve us well. When used properly, they can strike while the iron is still hot, cementing the subscription for the new subscriber.
If your ezine, newsletter or forum has been online awhile or even only for a few issues, consider taking the time to do a Best Of issue and be certain to list subscription instructions near the top of your Best Of and ask people to forward it to their friends and customers.
This special issue should be placed into an autoresponder email address and then given away at every opportunity. The instant the issue is hot off the presses, you can notify subscribers of its availability. In the ezine information area of each issue, you can also remind subscribers that the Best Of is available at so and so address.
The most important reason for a Best Of issue, ironically, is not for the benefit of your current subscriber base, but for new subscribers.
When someone subscribes, they will receive the usual opt-in welcome confirmation. As they read this message, their enthusiasm is usually high. In this welcome message, you should let them know if they want to get started immediately, they should send a blank email to your autoresponder address for the Best Of issue.
New subscribers will flock to the Best Of site like ducks to water and, more important, remember and look forward to each subsequent issue of your ezine or newsletter.

Did you know that one of the major purposes of a website is to capture visitor information and create an effective prospect list?
Do you also know you could write a newsletter or email broadcasts with important announcements and send it out to thousands of people in an instant without spamming anyone. Did your web designer tell you the method to do it or provide the software for it?
The most neglected aspect of millions of websites is an effective strategy to capture the details of the visitors and following up with them frequently and convert them to sales.
With spam laws getting tougher, spamming bulk email lists is no more the option. The emails list providers harvest the mail ids and put out attractive ads of millions of email ids which if you use will get you on the wrong side of your customer as well as your hosting service provider. Further uninvited emails invoke a feeling of anger in the receiver and there is not even a remote possibility that they would ever become your customer.
The key is your Optin list. Optin list is simply a list of web site visitor who has filled in a form at your site and opted to receive information from you.
Building your optin list involves two steps. 1. Having a website. 2. An Autoresponder
Now you have learned to drive in traffic to your website. What happens to all that traffic? They just do a bit of window shopping and move on even if they are interested as they may have other work to be attended to.
This is where, if you have a form asking them to leave their name and email ID in return for a subscription to an ezine or a free ebook, comes in handy. They leave their details which is effectively giving you permission to mail them further. This is the beginning of your optin list. Over a period of time as you drive traffic to your site, you build up a list of thousands of targeted prospects. Note the word targeted as they have left their details due their interest in your product/service or business.
Now this form is sent to an external remotely hosted autoresponder or your own autoresonder system (ready software are available for this) which immediately sends out a predrafted thank you letter acknowledging his interest with the details of the download of your free eBook or confirming the subscription to the ezine or both.
There are personalization features build into any good autoresponder software which would automatically pick up the first name of your prospect that has opted in. This helps in building a personal relationship and actually increases the sales you make.
You can set up your autoresponder with pre drafted emails packed with information on your products, announcements, special offers or anything of interest to your customer you can think of. This makes your sales process a 24/7 system projecting a professional image.
These letters having been prewritten can be few in numbers or go up to even hundred letters. You have the convenience of specifying the interval in which they should be sent by the autoresponder.
Research has conclusively established that you need a minimum of 7 follow ups for a conversion.
Now you have a fully automated system which takes care of your follow up without you having to lift a finger or even touch your keyboard.
You also have the facility of sending special broadcasts or announcement in between your automated series. The broadcast feature can also be used to mail your ezines or mini free eBooks, ebrochures or product catalogues.
The most important thing to remember in this is your letters have to be absolutely professionally written and highly powerful to induce conversion to sales. If they are boring or sloppy they would just opt out of the system by sending an unsubscribe return mail to your autoresponder and you have lost the prospect forever.
It is best to have the letters professionally written if you think your writing is not powerful enough.
So now you know all about it, I am sure you can initiate some massive action to make your website a cash magnet.

One of the best and newest tools out there for generating revenue is the Auto-Responder. If you aren’t using this tool in your business you are *losing money*!
Many times customers arrive at your website but aren’t quite ready to buy. They may not buy from you until they’ve seen your product more than once. So how do you keep them in your net until they are ready to buy? Auto-responders.
I’ve outlined the top 5 reasons you should be using this simple tool in your business starting today.
1.CHEAP. Of course this is the TOP reason to use auto- responders. Many times your web hosting company will offer fre*e auto-responders with your account. GoDaddy.com, my favorite hosting company offers fre*e auto-responders with your paid hosting account; however, the length of the message is limited. Another great option is Get Response, they offer a fre*e auto-responder account with unlimited auto-responders and up to 5 follow up messages. It doesn’t get cheaper than that!
2.CONSISTENT Auto-responders are a wonderful way to consistently remind your customer about you and your product. The best part of the newer services out there like Get Response is that they allow you to send 5 separate messages and set your own interval. So you can set up 5 messages and have Get Response send them out for you once a week for 5 weeks.
3.EASY. Auto-responders are easy to use. You plan your campaign, the number of times you want to contact your customer and how frequently. Type out your messages in your word processing software, then cut and paste your messages into separate auto-responders and send. It’s that easy.
4.AUTOMATIC. The auto-responder, once set up, is on auto- pilot. Your work is done and for the next several messages you’ll be contacting your customers without lifting a finger.
5.REMINDER. The best part of the auto-responder is the reminder aspect. Most of us don’t have time to call our customers every week but with an auto-responder in place you can remind them about you and your product or service. Frequency is one key to increasing sales.
Did I say Top 5? Okay how about one more.
6.REPEAT BUSINESS. Auto-responders encourage repeat business. Once someone is in your system, if they like your product or service they will likely purchase again. Auto- responders create a way for you to encourage repeat sales by letting those who have purchased before know you’ve got a new product or that you are running a special.
If you aren’t employing this new viral marketing strategy you need to get started today. Your business growth depends on it.

What every small operator always lacks is time. Sometimes lack of time leads to inefficiency, what in its turn, leads to failure even if you have plenty of financial resources.
That is why there are so many programs designed to automate every step starting from sign up process and ending with processing online payments.
Autoresponders play a special part. At the dawn of their usage they greatly assist in solving the most time-consuming task that is customer support. Nowadays there are other ways of how autoresponder can help with your everyday routine tasks. Below are the most common tasks where autoresponder fully reveal its potential:
Customer support;
Singup/unsubscription procedures;
Timely delivered emails;
Electronic materials on request;
Response tracking.
The usage of autoresponder as a customer support is based on the topic your customer interests in. Whether it is problems with program installation, billing or general question, it will reply with pre-written answers the same moment email was received from customer.
In very basic way autoresponder can simply notify customer/visitor that his/her inquiry was received and will be answered within 24 hours.
Subscription/unsubscription is also usually required instant notification. The majority of existed mailing scripts have an automatic notification feature, still in its basis it is the same old autoresponder.
Ezine or newsletter subscription is not the only process where autoresponder can give you a hand. They help in many cases with all sorts of email notifications of successful sale, accepted inquiry, thanking for completing the survey and many other cases.
Next way of autoresponder usage proved to earn huge income to many online entrepreneurs. Timely delivered follow up emails that are based on autoresponder are widely recognized as a must-have marketing strategy. The theory behind claims that biggest customer response is gained at 8th contact only. That is why owners setup a follow up autoresponder sequence that, when signup for, starts emailing pre-written messages on specified time basis - daily, every other day, weekly, biweekly etc, generating the biggest possible response rate on complete autopilot, without any need of owner interference.
Email courses are small variation of previous strategy. They were designed to educate interested people, work the same way as product follow-ups do, still serving as a perfect marketing tool for generating subscribers, customers without any hassle.
Publications on request play another important role. It may be articles, reports, brochures, schemes, ebooks, audio, video files, any electronic media may be emailed in the body of the email message or as an attachment to every person immediately on their request and to an email box they considered to be the fastest to download from, presumably, ISP’s.
As strange as it may seem, autoresponder may be used for tracking response rate as well. For instance, by putting slightly different autoresponder email addresses on different web-pages you can easily count how many requests came from each page, testing which web-page generates the biggest interest.
To track ezine advertisement response you will also have to setup a different for each ezine you plan to run your advert in. At the end you will see how many people each ezine has sent you and generated the biggest income.
Dominating majority of web-hosting plans, offered today on the Internet market, come with simple, usually unlimited, email . That means they can help in 4 main cases that we have discussed above, except for timely delivered emails. That is because they imply one-time reply email, so you can setup (1) customer support emails, (2) subscription notifications to both your subscriber and yourself, (4) publications on request, (5) response tracking, but (3) timely delivered emails like email follow-ups or courses.
In order to offer automatic, say, weekly, email courses you will have to look for:
custom autoresponder internet application (script);
3rd party autoresponder providers.
The rule of thumb is to know your needs and resources. First choice is preferable if you know what FTP and CGI mean or have someone with basic knowledge of how scripts are setup, want to install it once and forever, have time and money to make one-time investment. You can even try to find free script that in some cases may be even quicker to setup than sign up for some 3rd party service.
Autoresponder service, provided by independent Internet company, is easier for new comers as all technical stuff will be hidden, leaving simple web-interface to manage your . For such convenience Internet companies will charge you on monthly or yearly basis, although there are free so-called adware available.
In general you can find discounted all-in-one services, hosting offers or mailing lists coming with follow-up autoreponders and allowing you to save money.

An autoresponder is a software program that automatically sends a prewritten reply to anyone who uses your autoresponder address. It works 24/7 everyday of the year.
When you start an online business and your business begins to grow, you may find that using an autoresponder is essential.
Most successful online marketers look for ways to save time with multiple marketing tasks. Like thank you letters, newsletters, information on a product, orders, training courses, etc.
To save countless hours with these tasks, they will use an autoresponder to effectively handle all of their email campaigns.
There are several types of autoresponders one can use for their business. Choosing the right autoresponder depends on your current need and the type of email campaigns you will be implementing.
********************************
Paid Autoresponder Services:
Using this type of autoresponder is done through the Internet with a web-based company, which host your mail list on their server. You simply upload your prewritten mailings and choose the days you want them sent out. It is simple to set up and for the most part, they are considered very reliable.
There is a monthly fee, but you will find more features using this type of service than you will with some other autoresponders.
You will want to look for a web-based autoresponder that has the features to fit your business needs. Here are a few features to look for:
Unlimited Autoresonders: Lets you create as many mailing campaigns as you want.
List Management: You want an autoresponder that captures the name and email address and stores the contact information for you.
Unlimited Follow Up: A good autoresponder will have unlimited follow-ups you can use for your mailing list.
Tracking Features: Lets you know which mailing campaign gets the best response.
Unlimited Message Length: No limits on the length of your mailings.
Time/Date Features: To be able to set specific days for a multi promotion series/messages that you want sent to your mailing list.
Broadcast: Enables you to send out a message instantly to your entire mail list.
Personalize: This feature allows you to set your autoresponder to put your recipients name in the body of your email, as well as in the subject line.
Customer Support: Provides ongoing support by phone, email or fax.
Unsubscribe Management: This feature will automatically unsubscribe your viewer if they decide to be taken off your mail list.
********************************
Free Autoresponders Services:
Free autoresponder services work similar to a paid service but have fewer features. It’s important to understand that most of these services will place their advertisements in your messages.
Even though some companies may limit how many advertisements are used in your mailings, you may want to consider how professional your messages are going look.
Also consider that some free autoresponder services are sending your replies with 3rd party advertisements as well.
If you feel that this type of service would fit your business needs, look for companies that limit the amount of ads and do not allow 3rd party advertisements. You can go to any major search engine to perform a search for one that may work for you.
********************************
Web Host Autoresponders:
If you are using a paid web host for your website, you will most likely find that they offer you a free autoresponder.
A web host autoresponder has limited features, as they only provide the basic autoresponder function of sending one reply to a message sent.
There are no follow-up messages that can be sent and you do not have the option to capture the list of names that replied to your autoresponder.
This is not to say that there are no benefits with this type of mailing program. You can use it for people who request information, a copy of an article, thank you messages, etc.
If you have a mailing that only needs to go out once without a follow-up, than using a web host autoresponder may work for you.
Check with your current web host to see what options they offer. If it doesnt fit the business needs you have, move on to an autoresponder that will.
********************************
Software Autoresponders:
This form of an autoresponder is a software that you purchase and install on your computer.
The software will give you more flexibility than a web host autoresponder, but you need to understand its advantages and disadvantages.
Set up is basically easy and there are no monthly fees to pay.
With this software you will have many options to make your business work on autopilot. From unlimited follow up replies, time/date delay features, capturing the list of names that replied to your autoresponder and building a client database.
The drawbacks in using this type of software are; you need to be connected to the Internet for it to work. If one were to send an email to your autoresponder address and you were not online, they would not receive your autoresponder message until you were connected. One solution to this problem is having a T1, DSL or Cable line and leaving your system on.
Understand that it would be up to you to maintain your list of addresses and back up your files on a regular basis.
********************************
CGI Script Autoresponders:
CGI script autoresponders can be extremely reliable and effective providing you have total understanding of a few basic principles of installing one.
This type of autoresponder is installed on your web host server (rather than on your own computer) and you need to know the ins and outs of installing the script.
Before you buy a CGI Script, check to see that your current web host server meets the requirements that are needed to run the software. This step is a must or you can be wasting your time and money.
Another possible drawback to using this type of autoresponder is going to be the reliability of your current web host server. Do they have little to no down time? If your web host server is down, so is your autoresponder.
Some of the advantages of in using a CGI script is there are no monthly fees and you dont have to worry about maintaining and backing up files. Your web host server will take care of this task along with your website files.
Most scripts have added features you can implement to save you time. List management, date/time delay, unlimited follow-ups, text recognition and many more.

Setting up and using email autoresponders on your site is an easy way to make repeated contact with your visitors. Studies have shown that more than 60% of a site’s visitors who eventually end up buying a product or service don’t do it on their first visit. An E-mail autoresponder is one way to encourage your visitors to return and make that purchase!
It can be simple to set up and use an autoresponder, unless of course, like me, you set up a message when you’re over tired, late at night, and forget to tell the autoresponder what message to start at and what message to stop at while running a test. I actually did this and sent 491 blank email messages to our personal email account! Needless to say, I clogged up our account and had to delete each message individually. Very time consuming and frustrating to say the least but it never happened a second time. And, it has given us something to laugh about from time to time.
There are many advantages to having e-mail autoresponders such as:
Give your visitors an easy way to receive a printer friendly version of your sites main sales messages.
Send a several part e-mail course (the free email course can be a powerful incentive for your visitors to leave their email addresses which also builds your subscriber list.
Send repeated messages to your visitors with reminders of what you sell and what its benefits are.
Collects addresses for your e-mail ezine which will give you periodic access to your site’s visitors. You can sell advertising in your ezine or just use it to promote your products and services.
There are two main types of autoresponders. They each have their pros and cons.
Autoresponder services:
Autoresponder services are web based services that allow you to send a series of emails to a visitor who has either requested the email through a web-based form on you site (the service provides the html code for your site to use) or who has sent an email to a specific address the service has provided you to use. The primary advantage of such services is that they are very easy to set up, and are very reliable. In addition, they are host independent. This means that your web host doesn’t have to allow you to run any particular services on your site to have access to all that an e-mail autoresponder can provide.
Autoresponder programs (or scripts):
The other choice for an autoresponder is to purchase (or lease) a program or a script (usually written in perl, requiring CGI access on your server.) Several of these are available. They offer the potential for lower cost, especially if you have multiple web sites to support. (But be careful to check the license agreement. Some license agreements require an additional fee if you are going to use the program or script on more than one site at the same time. These types of autoresponders also allow, potentially at least, for increased flexibility. Some are quite powerful in their own right, while perl scripts can generally be modified to suit your needs for a fee.
Whatever your choice or needs Email Autoresponders most definately play an important role in your success as an internet marketer.
If you’re in need of a Host with unlimited autoresponders or tired of bad service from your present one I highly recommend the following. It’s only a dollar for a 2 week trial and provides Free leads & a business opportunity too!

Do you market your products or services via the Internet to customers in California? Many es do, but hardly anyone is aware of a little known law in California that is intended to keep customers from being scammed by unknown website operators.
And one effect of the law is to make it more likely that you will need an autoresponder to comply with your disclosure requirements.
In a nutshell, before selling to California residents you must disclose your real name and address. California buyers are also entitled to receive that information by email, and it must be provided within five days of their request.
Here is what the law says. California Business and Professions Code section 17538(d) states in part:
‘A vendor conducting through the Internet or any other electronic means of communication shall do all of the following when the transaction involves a buyer located in this state:
(1) Before accepting any payment or processing any debit or credit charge or funds transfer, the vendor shall disclose to the buyer in writing or by electronic means of communication, such as e-mail or an on-screen notice, the vendor’s return and refund policy, the legal name under which the is conducted and, except as provided [ in other sections the complete street address from which the is actually conducted.
(2) If the disclosure of the vendor’s legal name and address information required by this subdivision is made by on-screen notice, all of the following shall apply:
(A) The disclosure of the legal name and address information shall appear on any of the following: (i) the first screen displayed when the vendor’s electronic site is accessed, (ii) on the screen on which goods or services are first offered, (iii) on the screen on which a buyer may place the order for goods or services, (iv) on the screen on which the buyer may enter payment information, such as a credit card account number, or (v) for nonbrowser-based technologies, in a manner that gives the user a reasonable opportunity to review that information. The communication of that disclosure shall not be structured to be smaller or less legible than the text of the offer of the goods or services.
(B) The disclosure of the legal name and address information shall be accompanied by an adjacent statement describing how the buyer may receive the information at the buyer’s e-mail address. The vendor shall provide the disclosure information to the buyer at the buyer’s e-mail address within five days of receiving the buyer’s request.’
The best way to make sure that this disclosure information is provided, and provided in a timely manner, is to setup an autoresponder.
There are good resources available that will help you select the best autoresponder for your needs. One is located at http://affiliatemegaguide.com/autoresponder-review.shtml and the other is at http://autoresponderreview.com
One simple solution is to include an appropriately placed statement that customers can obtain the information about your company by emailing a request to a specified email address. That email address is setup with an autoresponder to automatically return the requested information.
Complying with the law can be easy. Knowing what laws need to be complied with can sometimes be the more difficult task.

Under Autoresponders
Imagine going to bed and waking up in the morning to find that you made sales while you slept - all because of your autoresponder!
What exactly is an autoresponder? An autoresponder is an automated email program that responds to an incoming email with a message written by you. The message can be written once and loaded in the autoresponder and forgotten about. It’s as easy as that.
Some Uses for Autoresponders
1. Use autoresponders as an immediate acknowledgement to those who send you information. Let the recipient know that you have received their message and when to expect a reply.
2. Create a FAQ document to answer commonly asked questions about your product or service. Use the familiar question and answer format.
3. Collect names and email addresses by using a capture form. This allows you to build a list and as marketers keep saying, lists lead to repeat sales.
4. Make all your articles and newsletters available via autoresponder.
5. Offer free reports or e-courses to show your expertise to your customers. This is a great way to capture prospects’ name and email address for future follow-up.
6. If you publish an e-book, put the different chapters or excerpts in your autoresponder.
7. Archive issues of past ezines and put some of the best ones in an autoresponder and let your prospects access them.
Before you send out information via an autoresponder you should always check the content for spam triggers that may prevent your messages being delivered. To have a free check on your emails/messages go to: http://www.merchant-account-service.com/stopspammail.html
If you are not using an autoresponder already you may be losing up to 400% of potential sales. Research shows that autoresponders increase your exposure to your prospects and this increased contact with them leads to higher sales.
Remember if you’re not using an autoresponder and gaining these sales, your competitors will!

Under Autoresponders
An autoresponder is a very powerful tool for any online business. Basically, an autoresponder is used to ease your tasks. Automation is critical when running an online business. Hence you won’t need to do the tiring and boring manual tasks if you automate your business.
An autoresponder simply sends backs a precomposed message to the recipient who requested information from it by sending an email to this autoresponder address.
But autoresponders can be used for far more advanced tasks to increase your sales for instance.
1. Use your autoresponder to publish an ezine
A nice function available in most autoresponders nowadays is the broadcast feature.
Every person who requests more information from your autoresponder eg to subscribe is automatically added to your autoresponder database. Hence you will be able to use the broadcast feature to publish your ezine and your subscribers in your database will receive your newsletter automatically.
This is a low cost way to create mailing lists that your visitors can subscribe to including your own ezine that you can use to effectively market your products.
Concentrate on making your ezine a source of valuable information for your subscribers and you’ll be able to create an ezine that your subscribers look forward to reading and that increases your sales.
2. Use your autoresponder to deliver an email course
A very simple but yet powerful method of increasing your sales is to create an email course that contains valuable information.
For eg if you are creating an email course about Internet marketing, you can write an article that lists 7 Internet marketing methods.
Method 1 - Search Engines
Method 2 - Ezine Advertising
Method 3 - Joint ventures
Method 4 - Opt In Email
Method 5 - Affiliate Programs
Method 6 - Article Writing
Method 7 - Link Partnerships
Then put every marketing method in your autoresponder on a 7-day cycle. Hence every person who requests this course will receive each lesson for a period of 7 days.
In each method, try to find products, be it affiliate products or your own products that are related to this marketing technique and include a link.
For example if you own an ebook on how to write articles to promote your business, you can include a link to that product in method 6.
3. Use your autoresponder to provide a report
Reports can be articles that you can easily deliver via an autoresponder. If you have an article called 7 Powerful Internet Marketing Tactics To Promote Your Online Business, you can easily use it as a report.
Include the links to the products to complement each method
4. Use your autoresponder to promote your articles
Autoresponders are very effective ways to promote your articles along with your website.
You can make your articles on your site or in the emails that you send to ezine editors to consider your recent article for publication available by autoresponder. You can say something like.
All my other articles available for reprint at articles@autorespondername.com
Make your articles available by autoresponder along with your publishing guidelines. If you’ve written lots of articles, make a master list of your articles available by autoresponder that lists all of your articles along with their autoresponder addresses.
This can provide you with a terrific way to get your articles published on a regular basis by ezine publishers and webmasters who enjoy your writing.
Autoresponders should form part of your Internet business. Without them, your business will suffer.
Consider an autoresponder as your own 24hr marketing machine.
This article can be freely published on a website as long as it’s not modified in any way including the author bylines, plus the hyperlink must be made active just like below.
